Same thing, again
“I keep going back to the same thing, no matter how many times I mean it.”
You did it again. That is the reason you are reading this, and there is no point dressing it up.
The first week is the hardest, because it explains the thing you keep doing in terms of your own body — how craving is built, why it does not care how sincere you were on Sunday. That explanation is true. It is also not a defense, and week one says so plainly.
The rest goes where an explanation cannot: what repentance actually is, why the church’s willpower answer fails for the same reason the clinical one does, and why turning is something you do tonight rather than something you finish.
This path will not tell you the struggle is over, and it will not congratulate you for reading it. It assumes you will be back, and it is written so that coming back is not the same as starting over.
